Working for the students of the Melrose School System

LAUNCH is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to developing and encouraging educational excellence in Melrose and providing leadership and support for diverse extracurricular programs.

LAUNCH produces athletic and cultural programming for the Melrose Educational TV station METV channel 15. By raising funds via local donations and sponsorships, Launch provides support for extracurricular school programs via the issuance of grants.

Launch Activities, 2004-2005

Launch has been busy adding value to the Melrose school community in a variety of ways. We have:
• developed and produced television programming for Melrose’s METV, Channel 15,
• purchased equipment for the Channel 15 control room,
• provided financial and consulting support for various school-related activities, and
• provided significant consulting help to the Melrose School Committee and administration during budget deliberations.
